October is breast cancer awareness month.  Wear pink to the game tomorrow. Support the fight and get your “Titans For Ta-Tas” t-shirts for $10 from Mrs. Armstrong.

Maps Credit union will be open starting Wednesday, Sep. 27th.   If you do not have a MAPS account, now might be a good time to open one.  You will receive a Dutch Bros gift card and just think of all the convenience of having your money right here on campus when you need it.

Juniors- You should be taking the PSAT your junior year to be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Competition.  Sophomore year does not count! The cost is $20. Please pay the bookkeeper ASAP. We ordered a limited number of tests so it will be first come, first serve. Don’t miss out!

Open gym for Girls’ Basketball has started!!  If you’re not playing a fall sport, come join us for some bbaaaalllll!  If you need a calendar, check the West Salem High web page!

 Students, is there a class you are struggling in or just need a little extra help? Do not worry, because help is here!  Tutoring for ALL subjects is available in the library – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:20 – 3:15.  There is also Math tutoring in the library on Fridays, 2:20-3:15.

Please do not hesitate to stop by for a little help.

If you parking in the neighborhood, please be a good neighbor! Park 12 inches from the curb line. Park in the same direction as traffic and 20 feet away from any crosswalk. Pick up trash around your car.  If you are parked illegally, you may receive a traffic citation from the city of Salem.

Students, if you are parking on campus without a permit you will be ticketed.

If you HAVE a permit and are parking illegally you will be ticketed. Do not park in handicapped or numbered areas, spaces marked Visitor or curbs painted red.   Please note!  The main driveway out front has a yellow painted curb.  This is a LOADING ZONE and you are not allowed to park in this area.  If you park in red or yellow areas, you may be ticketed by Salem Police.   If you have any questions, please go to the Student Center.

Have you received an EPIC ticket from someone? Please bring those down to the student center because we will draw 100 students every Friday for a free slushee or candy!! Come down to the board near the student store to see if your name was drawn. You can get your slushee or candy on Fridays. West Salem is proud of you for being a great citizen and a kind person to others. West value’s this so much!!
